when importing a shape file with multiple rates (as from ADV); even though the shape file has these multiple products in it, each product must be imported individually in SMS; once the map for the first imported map appears, start the process over again. then add the additional maps to the first map in the lower left area to make a multiple map (the added map layers will appear on the right side of the screen). Then right click on the final map to export, as normal.
